HOWTO: Configure iPhone Email
Creating a New Email Account on Your iPhone
Select Settings on the home screen.

Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars to start iPhone mail.

Touch Add Account,

Touch Other

Touch Add Mail Account
Add Mail Account
A page with account information fields appears. Fill out the fields as follows and touch Save:
New Account
Account Information:
- Name: John Doe
- Address: johndoe@yourdomain.com
- Description: You can put any description you desire here
Next touch POP and enter information for Incoming Mail Server

- Host Name: mail.mainstreamit.com
- User Name: johndoe@yourdomain.com
- password: your_email_password
Enter information for the Outgoing Mail Server
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
Outgoing Mail Server
- Host Name: mail.mainstreamit.com:587
- User Name: johndoe@yourdomain.com
- Password: your_email_password
Touch Save
Save New Account
Touch Advanced to configure security options.
Touch Off for both Incoming Uses SSL and Outgoing Uses SSL.
For the Authentication option, choose Password.
The name John Doe is used as an example, you will need to use your name. You will also need to use your real email address rather than johndoe@yourdomaine.com.
